The Ministry of Finance’s Alimentacion Fund has disbursed a total of €48,148.75 in temporary maintenance payments today, based on 126 resolutions from social work centers that recognized children’s rights to such support. Of this total, €44,741.17 was allocated for temporary maintenance, while €3,407.58 covered costs related to enforcement proceedings acknowledged in the resolutions.
In terms of municipal distribution, the majority of resolutions came from the Podgorica Social Work Center with 34, followed by Nikšić with 19, Budva with 16, and Bar with 15. Other municipalities included Mojkovac (10), Danilovgrad (9), Pljevlja (6), Bijelo Polje (5), Golubovci (3), Herceg Novi (3), Cetinje (2), Berane (1), Andrijevica (1), and one each from Plav and Kotor.
The payments were made for 144 children: 5 children aged under 5 years, 77 children between 6 and 13 years, and 62 children aged 14 to 18 years.
Regarding the gender of the parents who applied for temporary maintenance, 20% were fathers and 80% were mothers.
Furthermore, after the disbursement of temporary maintenance in August 2024, the Alimentacion Fund issued 91 resolutions for the recovery of previously paid amounts.
