British Airways has shown interest in launching flights to Montenegro in 2025.
Predrag Hajduković, Assistant Director for Commercial Affairs and Marketing at Airports of Montenegro, stated that this would be a significant development for the country, as it would not only improve connectivity with major hubs but also encourage other legacy carriers to operate in Montenegro.

The airline had originally planned to introduce a weekly seasonal route between London Heathrow and Podgorica in 2020, but the launch was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. British Airways later postponed the launch to July 2021, but the planned service was ultimately scrapped before it could begin.
