Montenegro begins paving major Berane–Ribarevine road project

Paving has begun on the 17-kilometer section of the Berane–Ribarevine highway, marking one of the final phases of the multi-million-euro project.

The 27-kilometer Lepenac–Ribarevine–Berane road reconstruction, valued at over €36 million, is one of the largest infrastructure projects in northern Montenegro.

Works are being carried out in phases, with the first asphalt layer expected to be completed by 25 September and the final layer by 15 October.

During construction, traffic will be temporarily suspended from 9:00–12:00 and 15:00–19:00. The project is expected to significantly improve road connectivity in the northern region.
