Montenegro and Masdar discuss strategic partnership in renewable energy development

Minister of Energy and Mining Admir Šahmanović met with Mohamed Al Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies based in the United Arab Emirates. The meeting continued discussions that began in September this year, aimed at developing a strategic partnership and exchanging expertise in the energy sector.

During the talks, the two sides discussed potential cooperation in the fields of solar and wind energy, as well as investment models that would support long-term and sustainable projects in Montenegro. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of green transition investments and their contribution to the country’s energy development.

Minister Šahmanović highlighted that Montenegro sees Masdar as a reliable strategic partner in achieving its energy goals and increasing the share of renewable energy sources.

Masdar’s CEO, Mohamed Al Ramahi, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing dialogue and interest in continuing discussions on specific forms of cooperation that would contribute to the development of sustainable and innovative energy projects in Montenegro.
