Acting UNDP Administrator Xu emphasized that the long-standing partnership between the Ministry of Finance and UNDP serves as a regional example of successful public finance collaboration. “Montenegro’s progress in modernizing its public finance system and aligning reforms with the EU accession process demonstrates the strength of national leadership combined with international support. The UNDP and Ministry of Finance project, implemented with the support of the Slovak Ministry of Finance, illustrates how public finance reforms can accelerate the 2030 Agenda and deliver long-term benefits to all citizens,” Xu noted.
