Nammos Hotels & Resorts and Smokva Bay announced a partnership for the development of Nammos Resort Montenegro on the Budva Riviera, with opening planned for 2029.
The proposed development will contain 126 accommodation units, including hotel suites, branded residences and villas, together with a Nammos restaurant, retail facilities, spa, beach and wellness components. No investment value or financing structure has been disclosed.
The project adds another international lifestyle brand to Montenegro’s coastal development pipeline and could support higher room rates and branded-residence presales. Its investment significance will depend on planning approvals, infrastructure delivery, construction financing and the ability to meet the 2029 timetable.
Montenegro’s established luxury developments at Porto Montenegro, Portonovi and Luštica Bay have demonstrated demand for integrated coastal resorts. New projects will face a more competitive market for qualified labour, contractors, infrastructure capacity and high-net-worth buyers.
