Montenegro is set to welcome its first high-technology factory for sustainable pallets, marking a new chapter in the country’s industrial development with a facility that will produce fully recyclable corrugated cardboard pallets for modern logistics and circular economy applications. The agreement to launch the project was signed between innovator and investor Gregor Brajović and Sanja Milosavljević, founder of Impact Investments Group, which is the local trusted partner of ZeeQuest Holding — the European technology group behind the KraftPal production concept.
The planned factory in Montenegro will become the seventh KraftPal factory globally, bringing advanced sustainable logistics production to the Western Balkans and positioning the country on the broader European map for eco-friendly supply-chain solutions. KraftPal pallets are designed as an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional wooden pallets, addressing challenges in disposal, waste generation and resource depletion associated with conventional timber products.
Under the terms of the agreement, construction of the facility is expected to begin in the near future, combining high-tech manufacturing, principles of circular economy and concrete investment opportunities in the logistics and manufacturing sectors. The factory will leverage KraftPal’s automated production technologies to manufacture pallets that are fully recyclable and engineered to meet modern standards for strength and efficiency.
Supporters of the project highlight its potential to catalyse a new industrial segment in Montenegro, create jobs, and reduce the environmental footprint of regional supply chains, especially as industries across Europe increasingly adopt recyclable solutions in pursuit of sustainability goals. Given the scale of the global pallet market and rising demand for eco-efficient logistics materials, the facility is viewed as opening both domestic manufacturing capability and export opportunities within the region.
The initiative also reflects broader economic ambitions by aligning local industrial development with circular economy principles and Montenegro’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable technologies into its economic framework.
