Industrial product prices in Montenegro: Import prices decline, export prices rise in Q4 2024

According to data from Monstat, industrial product prices from imports in Montenegro decreased by 0.6% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

“Compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, the mining and quarrying sector saw an increase of 1.6%, while the manufacturing industry sector recorded a decrease of 0.6%,” the statement said.

Prices of industrial products from imports in Montenegro fell by 0.2% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of the same year. In comparison to the third quarter, the mining and quarrying sector remained unchanged, while the manufacturing industry sector saw a decrease of 0.2%.

Statisticians noted that the prices of industrial products for export from Montenegro increased by 5.3% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.

“Compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, the mining and quarrying sector experienced a rise of 17.6%, while prices in the manufacturing industry sector increased by 3.4%,” the statement added.

Prices of industrial products for export in Montenegro grew by 4% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of the same year.

“Compared to the third quarter, the mining and quarrying sector saw an increase of 8%, while the manufacturing industry grew by 3.3%,” the statement concluded.
