“Turnover in retail food trade in the fourth quarter of last year compared to the fourth quarter of 2022 is 4,2 percent higher, while compared to the third quarter of last year, the turnover is 27,9 percent lower,” the announcement states.
The turnover of goods in the retail trade in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the same period in 2022, was 6,8 percent higher in current prices and 2,5 percent higher in constant prices, Monstat data show.
The turnover of goods in retail trade in the fourth quarter of last year compared to the third quarter is 21 percent lower in current and 20,8 percent in constant prices.
Statisticians have calculated that the turnover in the retail trade of motor fuels in the fourth quarter of last year compared to the fourth quarter of 2022 is 6,1 percent lower, while compared to the third quarter of last year, the turnover is 27,2 percent lower.

Turnover in the retail trade of other non-food products in the fourth quarter of last year was 10,6 percent higher compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, while compared to the third quarter of last year, the turnover was 15 percent lower.
