Four bidders compete for Montenegro’s Mateševo–Andrijevica highway project

Four bidders have submitted offers for the design and construction of the second section of Montenegro’s Mateševo–Andrijevica highway, according to state-owned company Monteput.

The bidders include the Cengiz-Azvirt consortium, China Communications Construction Company, the Shandong Foreign Economic & Technical Cooperation–Shandong Luqiao Group consortium, and the Power Construction Corporation of China consortium.

Monteput announced that the evaluation of the technical proposals is underway and will be completed soon. Once the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) grants its approval, the financial offers will be opened, followed by the final selection of the contractor for this major infrastructure project.
