Finance Minister discusses investment and tourism policies with Turkish Chamber of Commerce

Montenegrin Finance Minister Novica Vuković visited the Turkish Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (TurkCham) to discuss current economic issues impacting trade and investment flows, according to a statement from the Chamber.

The meeting was attended by board members of TurkCham, led by President Burhan Genç, as well as the Chamber’s Honorary President, H.E. Ambassador of Turkey to Montenegro, Barış Kalkavan.

Discussions focused on the new Gambling Law and the policy of tax-free fuel for foreign yachts in Montenegro, which plays a key role in developing nautical tourism and attracting foreign investment. Minister Vuković emphasized that the Ministry of Finance continues efforts to improve the business environment, strengthen fiscal discipline, and support foreign investors.

TurkCham representatives expressed their commitment to contributing, through active dialogue with government institutions, to creating sustainable and attractive business conditions, which is also important for enhancing Montenegrin-Turkish economic cooperation.
