This August, the annual maintenance at Perućica Hydropower Plant (HPP Perućica) will take place, but without a full shutdown, EPCG announced. Despite Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant being offline, all consumers will continue to receive regular electricity supply.

Partial shutdowns may occur for a few days on units A3 and A4 during reconstruction, while unit A7 will undergo a complete equipment replacement, according to Radovan Đukanović, head of HPP Perućica.

Production remains low due to hydrological conditions, but imports will cover any shortfall, ensuring no impact on consumer prices. EPCG has produced around 50% of its planned output for the year, approximately 1,138 GWh.
