Customs Administration reports 9.1% revenue growth in first seven months of 2025

Montenegro’s Customs Administration reported a 9.1% increase in revenue collection from January to July 2025.

Gross revenue collection reached approximately €788.85 million, exceeding the previous year’s results by €65.75 million and surpassing the planned target for the period by €20.85 million (2.7% higher).

Revenue growth was recorded across all types of duties, with the most significant increases in import VAT (€526.44 million, up 8.32%), excise duties (€220.50 million, up 9.28%), and customs duties (€40.05 million, up 18.9%).

In July 2025 alone, customs revenue amounted to €138.66 million, marking a 6.46% increase compared to July 2024.
