The luxury cruise ship Celebrity Ascent made its first arrival at the Port of Adria in Bar this morning, attracting the attention of locals and tourists alike.
Celebrity Ascent, one of the newest ships in the Celebrity Cruises fleet, is approximately 327 meters long and can accommodate around 3,200 passengers and 1,400 crew members.
As a fourth-generation Edge-class vessel, it features a futuristic design, multiple restaurants, wellness facilities, and exclusive cabins including luxury suites with private terraces. A standout feature is the Magic Carpet – a platform that moves up and down the side of the ship, transforming into a restaurant, bar, or boarding platform as needed.
The cruise ship will depart from Bar at 6 PM.
The arrival of Celebrity Ascent follows the season opener with the megaship Sun Princess on April 24, marking the start of the cruising season in Bar, which will run until October 17. A total of 24 cruise ships are scheduled to visit the port during this seven-month season.
