The tourist season is already seriously affected, and the final results will be known by the end of September, said Petar Odžić, deputy president of the SDP, president of the Budva Municipal Assembly, and representative of the European Alliance.

He noted that while the minister claims the season is going well and blames opposition criticism for problems in tourism, and the state secretary points to professor Milović as the cause, he hopes Prime Minister Spajić will offer a better explanation.

Odžić once again urged a reduction in the VAT rate for tourism, arguing that this would allow for better preparation of the next season, alongside the development of a proper strategy focused on air connectivity and price competitiveness.

Addressing the prime minister directly, he added that the government should either implement these measures with staffing changes or let the Democrats conduct a vetting process in the Monstat statistical office, saying there is no third option.
