Average household electricity bill reaches €32.21 in October, consumption up 17% year-on-year

The average household electricity bill in Montenegro for October 2025 amounted to €32.21, according to data from the Montenegrin power utility EPCG.

Households consumed 117.4 million kWh of electricity in October, which is 12.47% more than in September and 17.2% higher than in October 2024.

The lowest average bill was recorded in Mojkovac at €24.65, while the highest was in Nikšić at €37.44.

EPCG reported that 64.1% of households will pay less than €30, 16.97% between €30 and €50, 14.81% between €50 and €100, and 4.12% more than €100.

A total of 157,163 customers (38.53% of households) received a 38% discount on active energy, 49,934 customers (12.24%) received a 21.5% discount, and 207,097 customers (50.75%) were granted an additional 6.4% discount on network services.
