Industrial production in Montenegro in the second quarter of this year fell by one percent compared to the same period last year, Monstat data show.

“Compared to the second quarter of last year, the mining and quarrying sectors and the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning registered a growth of 4.2 percent, i.e. 43.8 percent, while the processing industry recorded a decrease of 19.8 percent,” it states in the statement.

Industrial production in Montenegro in the second quarter of this year, compared to the first quarter, recorded a drop of 17.3 percent.

“Compared to the first quarter of this year, the mining of ore and stone and the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning sectors recorded a decline of 18 percent and 39.9 percent, respectively, while the processing industry recorded a growth of 13.9 percent,” it is stated in announcement.
