Economic analyst, Oleg Filipović, announced that he expects the budget of Montenegro to be adopted in 60 days, and that it is realistic that the government will have to borrow two months after its constitution.
He said that he does not see the exposé of Mandatory Milojko Spajić as a list of wishes, but a list of tasks.
Filipović stated that everyone’s goal is to avoid temporary financing and added that he believes that the budget will be adopted in 60 days.
“I don’t see any big problem,” said Filipović.
He assessed that we live in a system that does not give us security and results.
“I think that the system that will be created will be radically better,” said Filipović.
He believes that it is realistic that the government will have to borrow two months after its constitution.
“When they go into debt now, they have to make a plan to pay it back, but this time from real sources,” said Filipović.
He claims that the pension system must be reformed.
“How will Spajić proceed, will he proceed directly to abolishing direct taxes, or will he proceed completely to indirect taxes, or will he proceed gradually. “I am always an advocate of radical reforms, because they hurt the most in the beginning, and later they produce effects,” Filipović announced.
He believes that every government must conduct an audit of the previous government’s operations.
“If you set goals like Spajić, and start with a conservative approach, you will not achieve those goals.” Simply, we are not a big country and we don’t have big problems and we can solve them quickly if we work independently,” explained Filipović.
In his opinion, digitalization of society can be introduced in Montenegro in five years.
Filipović also believes that priority should be given to domestic companies over those from the surrounding area.
