The Podgorica-based company Carine has received the green light to develop a five-star hotel complex in Baošići. The Environmental Protection Agency has determined that an environmental impact assessment is not necessary for this project. The hotel, valued at approximately 100 million EUR, will consist of five wings and is set to open in 2027.

The agency’s decision specifies that the project developer must adhere to the project documentation and comply with relevant technical standards and environmental measures during construction and in case of any incidents.

As reported earlier by eKapija, the hotel complex will be built on a 28,000-square-meter site, with a maximum gross building area of nearly 54,000 square meters.

Despite having five separate wings, the design integrates them into a cohesive complex, with a landscaped park between the wings enhancing the overall environment. The wings will vary in height, and the accommodation units will be situated on the upper floors.

The complex will feature 632 accommodation units, including rooms and suites, with a total of 710 beds. Additional facilities will include meeting rooms, a gym, and a spa and wellness area. Areas closer to the beach will feature swimming pools with related amenities, as well as public dining areas facing the sea and accessible from the promenade.

Earlier, Carine’s director, Čedomir Popović, indicated that the hotel in Baošići would offer between 700 and 800 rooms and be valued at 100 million EUR. Popović stated that preparatory work is ongoing and that the hotel is expected to start welcoming guests in 2027.

Additionally, Popović mentioned that Carine is planning another major investment in Đenovići—a five-star resort covering approximately 70,000 square meters.
