Tourism snapshot: Kotor welcomes diverse international guests and day-trippers

In the area of the Bay of Kotor, 8.81 thousand tourists are currently vacationing, according to the Kotor Tourist Organization (TO).

Local TO officials told Radio Kotor that 6.84 thousand guests are staying in private accommodations, 1.73 thousand in hotels, 163 in hostels, and 68 in campsites.

From the TO’s Professional Service, it was added that guests from Serbia, Russia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Bosnia and Herzegovina are the most numerous in private accommodations, while hotels are predominantly occupied by guests from the United Kingdom, United States, France, Germany, and Turkey.

“According to the latest snapshot from the Tourist Information Center, Kotor was visited by 1.77 thousand day-trippers last Thursday,” said the Kotor TO.

Throughout the past week, the city was visited by 21.62 thousand day-trippers, with the largest groups coming from Turkey, Germany, the USA, Poland, Russia, and the United Kingdom.
